Short story
It was 2008 when our bredda Weeda (Jah Militant) from France started to teach us about sound system culture, beyond what you can find by reading reviews or history on internet or just by going to a session. For one year we used to rent sound, every time we set a dance or even a small party, but the same problem always occured: not enough bass, not enough quality and not enough power.
Then, in 2009, when we were starting to organize One Love Festival, we wanted to have a real traditional sound system for the reggae stage, but in Romania there wasn't such thing. It was a crucial decision to build a new one from zero.
Again we had all the support from Weeda, who moved to Romania for a while and start cutting and building boxes, so that in the morning when the festival was supposed to start, everything was ready. And what a moment, when the first tune started, to test the full sound. It was "Martin Campbell - Tell the world", and when the tune started everyone was shocked. Yes, it was brilliant, the first Romanian authentic reggae sound system....
